Huge thanks to our school community who generously donated much need food and toiletries for the Drogheda Homeless Aid. This was a super initiative organised by the Amber Committee as a way of thinking of others who may not be as fortunate as us. Many thanks to Denise, from DHA, who came out on Thursday to collect all of the donations.
Each class made a "Happiness Jar". Together with their teacher they chatted about all the different things they do in class that they enjoy, are positive and make them feel good. The jars highlight the variety of activities that make each class grouping feel happy. Lovely to see so many different things that bring happiness to the children of Scoil Naomh Treasa. A big thank you to Fiona Dorey who facilitated "Sound Bath Meditation" sessions with all of the classes.
The Amber Committee created fabulous "Worry Monsters" for each of the classes in our school. If any of our pupils have any worries they are encouraged to feed them to their Worry Monster!
What a fantastic way to kick off our Wellbeing Week! Huge thanks to Kieran Gallagher @kadakaboomarts for such a fun and lively day of samba drumming enjoyed by all classes!
