First and second class pupils explored what makes a good friend by creating "Recipes for Friendship". A great class bonding activity, children were encouraged to highlight the positive qualities they see in others and write their own recipes of what a good friend means to them.
On "Thankful Thursday" each class chatted about the things in their lives they were thankful and grateful for. Together we then created a whole school gratitude display with each child pining their own colourful post-it to the board, showcasing what each of us is thankful for.
Every Wednesday during the month of January, all classes will go on a winter walk around the race course. We are lucky to have such a fabulous space to enjoy on our door step. It's a great way to get out in the fresh air, enjoy nature and to clear heads. A simple yet effective way to promote both healthy bodies and minds.
Introducing our fantastic "Amber Flag Committee" for the school year 2021/22. We look forward to working together and coming up with some great ideas in support of the Amber Flag initiative.
